WHAT IS HORIZONVIEW?
HorizonView is a cloud based platform that offers Remote monitoring system, Central Nursing Station and a Digital Charting solution. With a vast scope ofexpansion and flexibility to integrate with HIS, LIS and EMRs, HorizonView makes smart critical care accessible to every small, medium and large ICU setups, all made seamless without the hassle of cables!
RESEARCH
PRIMARY RESEARCH
A series of interviews were conducted with the various stakeholders to understand the current process followed in hospitals. We asked the users the problems they faced to then analyse and develop a comprehensive solution.
SECONDARY RESEARCH
Reach was carried out studying the articles and journals of the digital solutions proposed. A competitive analysis was carried out to then understand what exits in market.

REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM
Cloud capabilities of HorizonView ensure seamless patient monitoring. Waveforms, vital signs, critical alarms and escalations of critical events on mobile devices brings patient information at your fingertips.
CENTRAL NURSING STATION
The real-time data can be viewed at a central location in the ICU on a single/multiple desktop screens, also available as a true wireless solution. The modern UI enables easy, intuitive, usable and user centric.
DIGITAL CHARTING
HorizonView will also integrate with cloud-based digital charting solution, improving the staff efficiency, enabling them to focus more on patient care, while we take care of the documentation and patient data.
EXISTING SOLUTION
PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED
High Infrastructure Cost: The cabling and wiring for the systems runs through the flooring of the ICU wards, installation thus is time consuming and costly.
Not a scalable solution: As data transfer is based on LAN its limited to the connected wiring and thus is not scalable.
Costly subscription of sub-products: To be able to view the data on various devices a cost must be borne by the hospitals that's high.
PROPOSED SOLUTION
ADVANTAGES
Data collection from devices with no Wifi: Currently the devices don't have inbuilt wifi and thus we introduce a Node that helps connect the existing devices with wifi and helps extract data. This will help leverage exposure to digitisation without replacing the medical devices.
Scalable: The solution becomes scalable without additional infrastructure cost.
Time and space efficient solution: Being a simple devices is easy to connect and thus saves time of connections and the space used to avoid detangling of cables and wires.

HorizonView will also integrate with cloud-based digital charting solution, improving the staff efficiency, enabling them to focus more on patient care, while we take care of the documentation and patient data.
We visited multiple hospitals and conducted interviews about the problems faced while updating the nursing charts. We collected nursing charts to analyse the parameters, time and efforts the nurse takes to fill the details.
We studied the nursing chart of each hospital and combined it to form a universal list of parameters and are trying to propose a solution where focus will be on automation and digitisation. It will be a universal solution that can be customised as per the hospital. This enables ease of use, match between system and real world, shorter learning curve, etc.
