PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED

Machine ones sold to the distributor or channel partner, the comapny could not keep a track of where the machine has been sold ahead or who is the end customer. Due to this when any service request was raised no action was taken from the distributor that led to distress and unhappy customers.

Service requests were raised over call and would be tracked using different and multiple application. This leads to indefinte timelines, unknown task ownership, complaint status and proposed solution was unclear.

Documentation was a manual process which is time-consuming and lengthy. The error rates increases by 50%. The productivity rate decreases by 50% which impacted the post sales experience of the product.

Timely remiders could not be sent to the end customer, that led to frustration in customer leading to higher bounce rate.

Data driven analysis was complicated as traditional methods were being used, made it difficult for resourse planning, finances and sales.

Incomplete reports were filled by the service engineers and desitibutors that mislead product problems and thus wrong solutions were proposed.

OPPORTUNITIES

Create a simple and intuitive digital product that can help ease out documentation. This will be a step by step process that will ensure that the user fills up all the required details, without leaving it incomplete.

Maintaining consistency with the existing product, thus the adaptivity and the learning curve will be short. Inducing a new process shouldn't feel a hassle.
